Conventions analysis double page spread

Conventions analysis of a Double Paged Spread of a music magazine.
The title is shown clear, big and bold to show the reader what this page is about and is shown big to draw the readers attention to the article that is on the page to make then read which is normally a pull quote. The main big image takes up one of the pages and allows us to see what the article is going to be about. The Stand first summaries the article and helps us have an idea what the rest will be about. The drop cap is the big letter and the beginning of the article which takes up the width of the lines and is shown in many other magazines. The main article tells the main story line of that page and of the magazine. The page number is normally in the bottom corner in a small size and font with the masthead of the magazine. Pull quotes are a brief, attention-catching quotation taken from the main text of an article and used as a subheading or graphic feature.
